About Paramount Classics
Classics is a solid European white oak floor with a smooth surface that lets the natural grain show. The planks are 3/4 inch thick and 3-1/2 inches wide, in random lengths up to 48 inches, with micro eased edges on all four sides. The finish is urethane with aluminum oxide in a matte sheen. We carry three colors: Taupe, Caramel and Natural.
The oak was harvested in Europe, and the planks are milled and finished in China. Classics is nailed or stapled down and listed for on or above grade, so it is not a below-grade basement floor. Paramount says the smooth finish works in busy family kitchens as well as quieter living spaces.
