About CALI Barrel
Real European white oak is what you see on Barrel. The top layer is a 2 mm oak veneer over a sustainable wood core, and the engineered plank is 1/2 inch thick. Planks are 7-1/2 inches wide, in random lengths up to 74-13/16 inches, with a 6-coat aluminum oxide finish. There are 11 colors.
Barrel has tongue and groove edges, and you can float it, glue it down or nail it down. CALI lists sound ratings of STC 61 and IIC 64, and a box covers 23.31 sq ft. Like any hardwood here, it is not listed as waterproof, so it is not a bathroom floor.
